Lunch in Glasgow city centre
An unforgettable luncheon
Lunch here is generous and unhurried. A club sandwich, the soup of the day, or why not try our Glaswegian take on the famous Reuben? The kind of lunch you settle into rather than rush.
An iconic venue sets the stage for an unforgettable lunch, with an expertly crafted menu the star of the show.
The Room & The Building
Two hundred years on Ingram Street.
The restaurant sits on the ground floor of Hutchesons’ Hall, the Category A listed building designed by David Hamilton in 1802, anchoring Glasgow’s Merchant City for more than two centuries. By day the room shows its age in the best way: dark panelling, original mirrors and carved detail, all softened by the light coming off Ingram Street.
Grand bones, but worn in and easy, a place that wears the day as well as it wears the evening. The same ground-floor room serves an elegant dinner menu by candlelight once the day turns.
“The same old room, just with the curtains thrown open.”

FAQ
Questions, answered.
Anything else you need to know before you visit, give us a call and we’ll be glad to help.
When do you serve lunch?
We’re open from midday Tuesday through Saturday, and from one on Sunday. Throughout the year, our opening times may vary, so give us a call or check ahead and we’ll let you know what’s on when you’d like to come.
Do I need to book, or can I just turn up?
Both work. We keep tables for walk-ins, but lunch can get busy, so for a table at the time you want we’d recommend booking ahead by phone.
How do I book a table?
Table bookings are made by phone, give us a call and we’ll find you a table and a time. Private hire and event enquiries are handled separately by email.
Is this the same place that serves dinner at night?
Yes. It’s the same ground-floor restaurant at Saints of Ingram: lunch by day, then dinner at night. One Georgian room, by daylight and by candlelight.
Can you cater for dietary needs?
Yes. There’s a full Saints vegan lunch and vegetarian options across the menu, and the kitchen is happy to accommodate allergies and dietary requirements, just let us know when you book.
Where exactly are you?
Hutchesons’ Hall, 158 Ingram Street, in Glasgow’s Merchant City, a few minutes’ walk from George Square and Queen Street station. The nearest subway is St Enoch, around five minutes on foot.
